Everything your team needs to ship

A clean, focused issue tracker. No bloat, just the tools that actually move work forward.

Folders

Group related boards under folders for project-level organisation. Each folder tracks a combined completion percentage across all its boards.

Kanban Boards

Each board has a short key (e.g. BWV) and its own issue backlog. Move issues across columns — Todo, In Progress, In Review, Done.

Issues

Create issues with a title, description, priority (low/medium/high/critical), status, due date, and assignee. Issues get a unique board-scoped key.

Priority & Status Labels

Four priority levels (low → critical) and five status states colour-coded across the UI. Filter and sort by any combination.

Assignees

Assign issues to any team member. Each user sees a personalised dashboard showing their open, in-progress, completed, and overdue issues.

Due Dates

Set due dates per issue. Overdue items are highlighted and counted separately in the dashboard stats so nothing slips through.

Progress Tracking

Folder and board-level completion is calculated automatically (done_issues / total_issues). Admins can view global stats across all projects.

Role-Based Access

Master and Admin roles can manage boards, folders, and users. Standard members can only see and work on boards they're granted access to.

Issue Statuses

Four clear stages from backlog to shipped.

How BoardWave works

From folder creation to sprint completion in six steps

01

Create a Folder

Group your project boards under a named folder with a colour. Folders provide a high-level overview of project-level progress.

02

Create Boards

Add kanban boards inside your folder. Each board gets a short key (e.g. BWV) used to prefix all issues.

03

Create Issues

Add issues to the board backlog — set priority, assignee, and due date. Issues are auto-numbered (e.g. BWV-1).

04

Move Through Columns

Drag or update issues from Todo → In Progress → In Review → Done as work progresses.

05

Track in Dashboard

Each team member sees their assigned issues, in-progress work, and overdue items on their personal dashboard.

06

Review Global Stats

Admins can view global stats — completion rates, overdue counts, and board-level breakdowns across all folders.
